Metalites
The Metalite frames are constructed of optical steel base metal with
either bronze or gold electroplate. All styles have a custom fitted
.35mmPb side shield that creates a seal to the front lens for necessary
protection from oblique angle exposure. Each pair is made with an
adjustable non-slip silicone nose pad for maximum comfort. The553-S and
the 557-S are for slightly smaller faces.
